Multi–award-winning Producer/Director John Heaney founded Media Stream with a clear mission: to offer a smarter, more flexible alternative to the traditional production company—one capable of delivering high-end results while remaining cost-effective for clients across a wide range of industries. Before launching Media Stream, John built his career in the New York City production scene, developing award-winning creative strategies that he applied to hundreds of film and digital projects. His expertise has made him a sought-after producer for organizations such as the U.S. Navy Seabees, National Grid, General Electric, and United Technologies, as well as New York State agencies and healthcare institutions throughout the tri-state region. John has held senior production roles at several major media companies, including Rainbow Media and Cablevision, and his work has earned numerous honors, including the Addy, Telly, Aster, BOLI, Axiem, NORI, Communicator, Cancer Awareness, and Videographer awards. He is a graduate of New York University, where he earned his degree in Film and Video Production from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts
